2012 #116 - Being Elmo: A Puppeteer’s Journey
And what a journey it was. Kevin Clash is an amazing puppeteer. And his craftsmanship and determination to be the best is seen throughout this documentary. I laughed, I cried (a lot) and fell in love with Clash all over again. Especially Elmo, who is the main focal point of Sesame Street now. Clash’s sacrifices throughout his life and his daughter’s life is sad but the happiness he gave to millions of children worldwide won’t be forgotten. Wonderful film.
